Boys and Girls Town (Ciudad de los Niños y Niñas) is a children's home (orphanage) in La Paz, Baja Sur, Mexico.
Since 1952, Boys and Girls Town of La Paz has offered a shelter and an education to those children of La Paz who either have no parents, or whose parents can no longer care for them. It is a special place where youngsters receive love, guidance and education.
Our goal is to never abandon a helpless child. We search for children who are living in misery, whether on the city streets or in families too poor to give them a decent life. Children are also referred to us by parish priests in La Paz and all over Baja California.
We provide our children with food and clothing, but more important we seek to instill in them values that will serve them well in their adult lives - respect for others, honesty and responsibility.
We invite you to explore our Web site and discover how we work and what you can do to help. |
