| Francisco López Gutiérrez is a biochemical engineer for the La Paz Technological Institute, a doctor of science with a speciality in vegetable physiology from the Colorado State University. His professional activity is in the area of teaching vegetable physiology and biochemistry, and also scientific investigation. He has published articles in international and national magazines as author and/or co-author as a result of his investigations.
Currently he is a professor - researcher for the "Normal Urbana" school named : Profr. Domingo Carballo Félix". His published works are; "El Mistico Serrano", "Agua Germinal", "Recuento Histórico de 50 años de la Ciudad de los Niños, A.C. ", "Cuando Bebas Agua acuérdate de la Fuente" , "A mi Querido Pancho en Prueba de Amor", "Justo Homenaje a Francisco Cota Moreno", and he has also published 8 books on regional themes. He is co-founder of the literary magazine Tertulia of ESAC. Also founder and director of the gazette Voces Normalistas . He has been a collaborator for the newspapers - Enlace, El Peninsular, and Educa of the State Education Ministry. He was president of the Sudcalifornian Writers group from (2001-2002), and participated on the committee of the State Reading Program in Baja California Sur, and has held a position in the State Ministry of Public Education. His participation in various national events has left a testimony to his preoccupation in elevating the quality of education, in particular primary / elementary education.
Today he complements his graduate and post-graduate teaching activities with a project to save urban oral history in the Santuario suburb of La Paz, capital of the State of Baja California Sur.
